What?

The first and only week long legal symposium committed to providing a forum for discussion of the legal issues impacting the fashion industry. An educational legal symposium dedicated to engaging students and the community in the discussion surrounding legal issues within the fashion industry and highlighting the path to a career in fashion law. A runway show featuring local and emerging designers, red carpet, vendors, Broadway actors, music, and networking with the DMV area’s most fashionable set.

FLW is devoted to provide an open forum for discussion on the legal issues facing the fashion industry. The protection of fashion design rights has been commonplace within the international community for years; however, this area of the law has been slow to develop within the United States.
